Are you Looking for a Good Flight Training Simulator?

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

I wanted to get a flight training simulator, mostly just for fun, but I wanted it to be as realistic as possible and to have a lot of great planes to choose from. I did quite a bit of research and I found the one I liked best. I wanted detail and I wanted realism. I think I found it with Flight Pro Sim.

Click here to take a look at their website.

Flight Pro Sim has real world cockpit controls, sloping runways, countless airports and you can fly just about anywhere in the world you like all with real life terrain, buildings and geography. It’s about the most realistic flight simulator training software I could find. It actually puts you in the pilot’s seat of nearly any aircraft you could want to fly in just about every type of weather you can imagine.

Flight simulator games or airplane simulator games are pretty popular these days. Most programs offer some of the features you’ll find in Flight Pro Sim but I haven’t found any that have everything this program offers. It’s about as complete a flight training simulator as you will find anywhere.

You can fly just about any type of plane you like and the cockpit simulators are so real you’ll forget you’re in your living room. I had a blast with the combat aircraft. The heavy commercial jets are kinda cumbersome and turn slow. There are even helicopters.

Even if after you learn how to fly every type of aircraft you can still add additional planes  to the flight simulator software so you’ll never get bored with it. Each type of aircraft offers unique challenges and a different set of missions. You can modify your planes engines, weapons and other specifications to you liking.

Fly everything from the Wright brothers flyer to the F35. This flight simulator has ‘em all. Every plane flys a bit differently so you have to prcatice with each one before you can really make it do what you want. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be surprised at what some of these aircraft will do.

Plus you can fly through almost every type of weather you can imagine and have your choice of nearly every different place in the world to fly around from San Francisco to Paris.

Some flight schools use flight training simulators like Flight Pro Sim to train their entry level pilots in normal operating procedures as wall as emergency procedures. Flight simulators are invaluable for training pilots to deal with emergencies and Flight Pro Sim offers the ability to work through problems like failures in your electrical systems, hydraulics, pressure, instruments and several other emergency scenarios.

I’m not a pilot and probably never will be but I had a blast with this flight training simulator.

Flight Training Simulator Games are a Lot of Fun

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

While flight simulator training for pilots has become an important part of learning how to fly, many people have discovered that these same flight simulators are fun to use as flight simulation games. In fact, actual flight simulator pilot training programs have become the most popular flight simulation games precisely because they offer a realistic cockpit simulation experience.

Flight simulator games have been around for a long time. They first hit the market for entertainment about thirty years ago and since then they have made so many advances that most pilot schools require their students to start their flight training using some type of flight training simulation program.

With the growth in demand for realistic flight simulators, both from the world of professional pilots and the aviation entertainment industry, and the advances in technology flight training simulator software has come a long way. The first programs were large, slow and difficult to use. Worse, they didn’t offer a very realistic flight simulation experience. Today’s flight simulator real world training programs like the ultra modern Microsoft flight simulator and flight pro sim offer incredible graphics and very real flight simulation experiences and scenerios.

The latest flight training simulation games give the uses the power to make extensive modifications to thier aircraft as well as choose the type of mission and flying conditions they want to train in.

War plane flight simulation games even give you the option to select the weapons you want to arm your fighter aircraft with as well a select the era you want to fly in. For example, you can fly planes that were deployed during world war two or fly a simulated spy plane from the cold war. The choice is up to you. Want to fly a MIG? How about an F16? The top flight training simulators typically contain all of the most popular aircraft from throughout the history of arial warfare. Today’s flight training simulation software offers a nearly endless menu of options to choose from for your entertainment.

There are quite a variety of flight simulation games including Warcraft, Ace Combat and the Red Barron series. Each gaming platform has it’s own set of flight simulator games so you have a lot to choose from. The thing to keep in mind is the level of realism you are looking for. If you want the most realistic flight simulation experience you should look for a flight training simulator that is actually used to train real pilots. These programs are often more complicated and require a good deal of focus and practice to master but they offer a s real a flight experience as you can find outside of a real cockpit.
